Fresh Air Sculpture 2019 - What Joy!
I have had the most wonderful time handling the press and marketing for Fresh Air Sculpture 2019, a fantastic biennial contemporary sculpture show in the beautiful grounds of a Cotswolds garden.
I started working with The Quenington Sculpture Trust in February 2018, building up their social media presence and garnering relevant press contacts in that fallow year and kicking into full on listing, press releasing, reciprocal dealing and journalist chasing in 2019.
It has been a brilliant ride; super busy, challenging, at times relentless and also a whole lot of fun. I got to work with a bright, uber capable, and eclectic team of people all focusing on the creation of a three week knock out celebration of sculpture, craft and nature!
I secured media sponsorship with the wonderful folk at Period Living Magazine who have been incredible in their support of the show, not only with print and online mentions but with a full 8 page feature about The Old Rectory and the sculpture gardens.
We were also given a big old write up in The Observer Magazine.
The show got a lot of support from local press with plenty of social media mentions and of course a massive amount of user generated content for us to play with from our generous visitors.
2020 is the event's year off and gives me time to conjure up ideas and make plans for 2021's promotion.
